Ashley and Scott had three sons between 2012 and 2016. Believing that they would not have any more children, Scott got a vasectomy in 2016. By 2019, they felt led to have another child, so Scott got a vasectomy reversal. Unfortunately, that reversal was unsuccessful, and Scott suffered from continued infertility and discomfort. Luckily, he was referred to Dr. Shep in 2022! Dr. Shep's revision of Scott's reversal was successful and relieved the discomfort previously experienced, but Ashley was still not getting pregnant. In 2024, Scott and Ashley decided that they would stop trying at the end of the year. Their prayers were answered, and Ashley got pregnant that September! On May 25, 2025, Scott and Ashley welcomed Rowe Day Boreing into the world, and they are forever thankful to God and Dr. Shep!
